Benefits:

The Eco MINI brings nano systems to the high end by allowing hobbyists to keep reef inhabitants with a high degree of success.  The MINI has an open infinity top so heat will not be an issue like an enclosed nano system.  The MINI also has a fan built into the filter cover to keep a steady flow of air blowing across the water to ensure a proper temperature.  The MINI has an optional 7w UV filter that can added into a chamber in the enclosed filter to insure proper fish health from any parasitic infections.

The lighting is provided by either Metal Halide (70w and 150w versions) or economical T5 fixtures.  The Metal Halide comes with an adjustable height bar so the lights can be raised after a bulb change to prevent any corals from being burned from the new light intensity.

The refugium models each come with 2 Miracle Mud trays.  Once a year you replace 1 tray to maintain the proper level of trace minerals inside the main system.  All the models come with a Eco Phos filter cartridge containing phosphate high grade carbon and our own Eco Phos (ferric oxide) media for quick phosphate removal.
